Meet The Maker - Auburn Woods

“Before Auburn Woods became the name of our small business, it was what we lovingly called our 12 acres in the Northern Kettle Moraine. We spent a few years building our homestead in the Woods - in the town of Auburn. We are beekeepers, tap maple trees, grow vegetables, make sourdough everything, planted an apple orchard, and grow shiitake mushrooms on our logs from our woods.

Soap making started simply as a desire to use more natural products. I soon came to enjoy the process and made more than we could possibly use and a small business was born. Our product line expanded to balms, lotions, dog products, and candles with the same idea of using clean ingredients.

We enjoy our days in the woods with our puppy, Millie.“
